About Miso

Welcome! This is a page dedicated to the writings for my FFXIV Warrior of Light: Miso'no Tsuki, aka Miso. Throughout my journey through Eorzea with Miso I've been writing journal entries from her perspective to really get a sense of her thoughts and feelings as we play through the main story together.

Miso has had amnesia since the 7th Umbral Calamity; she remembers nothing except vague feelings of familiarity. All she knows is she lost a dear friend during the Calamity and she does not know what happened to him. She assumes he died, but she writes her journal entries "to" him in an attempt to keep him close... in the hopes one day she'll remember.

Miso's friend is based on - and dedicated to - my friend Tai, aka Codex Vahlda, who was a 1.0 player and Meteor Survivor. He passed away in 2014 and there was a big vigil in FFXIV dedicated to him at the time. I will never forget the love this community showed my friend.
